Masquerade is likely one of the best does I've bred to date. She is angular and open throughout, long in bone pattern and excels in every part of general appearance. From the smoothness in the front leg, levelness of back and rump and squarely placed strong feet she is what I breed for. She freshened with a typical mammary system from this cross with lovely extension and fullness of fore udder, strong and wide rear attachment and lovely texture. When she developed devastating mastitis as a three year old, I was crushed. We tried just about everything, but it just left too much damage in the udder to bring her back into the show ring. We are so thrilled we have been able to get a few daughters from her that are just as nice and we hope to see similar mammary systems on them. We also brought back a grandson, *B Scotchbriar Comedy of Errors who we are excited to line breed back to our herd in hopes of adding her style into more generations.
